Brody

Brody finished up his Senior Hunter title fall of 2007 and kicked off the rest of the season getting 3 legs towards his Master Hunter Title.  My little orange and white bombshell comes to see me again tomorrow.

Brody is a rescue and has come out to the field in November 2005 for the first time.

He is scenting and pointing the birds and doing quite well.  He makes a little more progress every time out. 

Here Brody is in December getting steadied up a little with the checkcord.

We have started shooting birds over him.  He retrieves with a very soft mouth and to hand almost always.

Brody is now steady to wing and most times steady to shot.  He still retrieves very well with a soft mouth and to hand or to within a step.  His hunting and quartering of the field is very good working and searching the cover.  Snapping to a steady point and not moving till you come to flush the bird.  He held on a covey of three birds walking in front of him as we were leaving the field last week Feb.

Brody enjoys being in the field and if there is a puddle or pool of water to get refreshed in he could stay all day.
